3 wins at the 2016 annual National Association of Community Rail Partnerships Awards

Three Rivers Community Rail Partnership won recognition at the 2016 annual national Association of Community Rail Partnerships Awards recently.

Having attended the annual awards ceremony of the Association of Community Rail Partnerships in Southport on Thursday we are delighted to announce that the Three Rivers Community Rail Partnership has been recognised in three categories as follows.

  1. Overall Winner of the Outstanding Delivery of the Community Rail Strategy category went to Great Western Railways with their Community Rail Partnership and volunteers, i.e us among others!
  2. Second Place for Best Community Engagement Event category for the Netley 150th anniversary event.
  3. Second Place for the Passengers Matter category for the No Train, no worries rail-bus ticket at Chandlers Ford.

This is an amazing result for us and we would like to thank all involved in helping the Partnership achieve such accolades. Your work, support and enthusiasm does not go unnoticed and they help to continuously improve our railways, stations, staff, passengers and local communities.

We hope this inspires you all to greater things in the future. Should you wish to see photographs of the event and descriptions of the competition categories please visit after 3 October.

So a big THANK YOU to you all and keep up the great work.
